Mariam Foundation in partnership with Majd Al Kroom Community Center held an amazing awareness lecture about breast cancer and early detection for several women’s groups and societies in Majd Al Kroom. The lecture was presented by Mariam Doctors member Dr. Mariam Ghantous, who presented the lecture and engaged with the audience through several questions and inquiries. Also, we were honored to have 2 cancer survivors talking to the audience about their experience with cancer and beating it, stressing the importance of self confidence and resilience in fighting cancer.
